Google Chrome Beta Channel: 2.0.172.23 Update

The Chromium team has released a large update for Google Chrome’s Beta channel. The Chromium team also announced that there will not be any release for the Dev channel this week.
This is probably is a good thing since it will give the devs more time to get caught up updating the Beta and Stable channels, although I’m guessing the main reason was give the team some time off to go see the new Star Trek movie.
